In email sent to me, Fatos writes:
One thing that you may not know about our cover is that it is a parody of many Turkish films we used to see as children. This is why the song is sang in English but with a Turkish accent. Films often depicted relationships which were broken by the woman cheating on the husband and the husband taking the matters into his own hands by shooting a woman and either end up in jail or committing suicide. When we heard Hey Joe as children we saw the parallels between those films and the song.

Une chose que vous ne savez peut-être pas à propos de notre reprise, c'est qu'il s'agit d'une parodie de nombreux films turcs que nous avions l'habitude de voir étant enfants. C'est pourquoi la chanson est chantée en anglais mais avec un accent turc. Les films décrivaient souvent des relations brisées par la femme trompant son mari et par le mari prenant les choses en main en tirant sur une femme et finissant en prison ou en se suicidant. Lorsque nous avons entendu Hey Joe étant enfants, nous avons vu les parallèles entre ces films et la chanson.
